I think this would ha e been great but it’s not clear how to get there. We drove down to a deserted fairy area and learned that you have to call the family to come pick you up to get to the hotel and restaurant. We tried calling but got voicemail

Great place to dine, infact the adventure of the boat over and the scenery was great, the casserole was great, huge helping, the fish my wife had was really good, but disappointed with amount of chips on the plate 7 or 8 maybe.
Starters we had the chicken Pakora and the haggis, no complaints from that.
Reasonably price for a restaurant.
Would I go again? Yes probably on a dry day to be able to walk around the island.

Amazing restaurant and lovely experience getting the ferry over. Staff are all friendly and understanding of my additional needs child.
The food and drinks are really good, and reasonably priced which is surprising considering the good quality and location.
Would highly recommend a visit here 😀

Birthday treat. Ferry was a lovely experience on a warm and sunny day. Menu at restaurant good and food was excellent. Views are wonderful. All staff are superb. A birthday to remember. Thanks

Incredible find! Such delicious food and friendly staff. Icing on the cake being you can only beg there via a boat. From start to finish, it was an amazing experience

Absolutely loved our time on the island, all staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Clearly operated by a customer centric family who pride themselves on providing great service, atmosphere and value. Will defo be back next year.

We called to book the boat ride over for the next day.
Nice trip in a smallish boat with great views.
Had a few drinks and dinner at the restaurant, really tasty food and friendly service.
They also have a great selection of beer and whiskey.
Went for a walk around the island which is easily done, although I'd probably recommend good walking footwear if you go far.
Lovely place, interesting, I'd love to go back one day.

Had a nice meal and a few drinks, two adults and four kids. Service was fantastic. I had the beef casserole and cheese & biscuits; was all great.
Could do with putting some boards on the sides of the metal jetty to make coming alongside a bit easier.

Cosy restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating, boat departs once an hour (takes 15 mins either way), the starters in particular are lovely, mains portions are big, short walks around the island and places to sit outside, good value for money

Absolute belter of a place and stunning location. Lovely ferry trip onto the island and then lunch, booked via Morag. They could not be more helpful or friendly. Highly recommended.

Fantastic hidden gem in Loch Lomond, me and my family visited yesterday and loved it. The food was all excellent, especially the lasagne with black pudding! Getting the boat over is a bonus, very friendly staff. Will definitely be back. Remember to phone in advance so the boat will be organised for you.

A very original experience not to be missed if you are up around Loch Lomond. Great view, peaceful and gorgeous surrounding, very good food options, friendly service and delicious desserts and drinks. We had great weather and everything was just right.
